A 16oz (473ml) Compostable paper soup container made from double thickness food grade poly paper lined with a PLA coating. Ideal for take away soups and ice-cream. These soup containers with lids are safe for freezing and refrigerating as well as microwaving with the lid removed*. Use with the vented lid for hot foods such as soup and pasta but they can also be used for cold and even frozen desserts such as ice creams and frozen yoghurts.
This container holds a standard size tin of soup, but works just as well holding pasta sauce, gravy/sauce, rice dishes or home made ice-cream.
As can be seen from the photos, this soup container has a roll at the top for easy sipping, an elevated base / stand of approximately 5mm and green writing around the container and inside the base:

These containers are 81mm high and as they are made from Ingeo <sup>TM</sup> they are compostable in commercial compost facilities. The Ingeo PLA lining of the cup means it works as any other coffee cups, but is compostable as it made from plants rather than petroleum so is also a renewable resource.
