Deliveries

We use couriers to transport our products, and our standard delivery option is a next working day service. They will normally deliver between 8am - 6.30pm. The cost of carriage also includes picking and packing.

Free Delivery

Orders over £100 (ex VAT) being delivered to a UK Zone A address only will have the option for Free Shipping. This will be on our standard courier service which is 1 - 2 working days when ordered before 3pm Monday-Friday.

How is the Delivery Cost Calculated

Your delivery zone will be automatically set once you have entered your postcode at the checkout. These delivery Zones have been set by our couriers, sadly we do not control these zones.

If an order is under 10kg in weight it can be sent via our economy service, however, please allow up to 5 working days for delivery through this service.

Delivery Speed and Backorders

Most of the items on the website are held in stock unless otherwise indicated. If it is in stock, then we will normally deliver within 3 working days - this is dependent on which delivery service is chosen, more information on this can be found below.

If a product is not in stock, then we aim to ship the goods to you within 10 working days - we will notify you by phone or email if there is to be a delay once the issue has been raised with the office.

Now get a 1 hour delivery window!

We use DPD Local for multiple box orders, DPD & DHL for single box orders. All 3 couriers offer a 1 hour delivery window too. When the couriers have collated their routes, you will receive a text with your 1 hour delivery window. Within that text you are also able to change your delivery day if required, and also track the progress of your order online.

Bank Holiday, Christmas, New Year and Easter Deliveries

Unfortunately our couriers like to take a rest and deliveries will not take place on any public holidays, for full delivery details and ordering schedules on any upcoming holiday please visit our blog, twitter or facebook pages for the most up to date information.

To view the cost of carriage charges, simply add the items to the cart and it will tell you automatically on page three of the checkout process - this is a speedier process than requesting a quote.

FAQs About Delivery

Below we have answered a few of the most commonly asked questions regarding our delivery to help you quickly place your order.

How quick is your Standard UK Courier & Free Delivery services?

Our Standard UK Courier service is a 1-2 working day service depending on how busy we and the couriers are. Our Free Delivery Service when you spend over 100 pounds will also be classed as Standard UK Courier. Whilst these services can be delivered next working day we would advise that if a next day delivery is required that you select a specific Next Working Day service at the checkout to ensure this.
This only applies to UK Zone A addresses.

Why am I not getting Free delivery when my basket shows over £100

Your qualifying spend to get Free Delivery is exclusive of VAT which means the goods alone must total £100 or more. VAT amounts do not contribute towards this total unfortunately. Please also note that Free delivery is generally only offered to UK Zone A - which is Mainland England and Wales and is not available to out of area postcodes such as Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man , Isle of Wight etc

Who do you use to deliver?

We use MyHermes, the Royal Mail, DHL, DPD, DPD Local and Pallet-Track to deliver across the UK and Ireland. Across Europe we use the DPD group.

We will use one of these couriers who offer the best service for your order, if you have an issue with receiving deliveries from a particular courier then please let us know before you place your order and we can tailor your delivery accordingly however some additional costs may be incurred.

When is the final cut off point for ordering to receive a next working day delivery?

Our cut off for same day dispatch on Next Working Day deliveries is 3pm however please call if it is after this time and we will try our best to get it out of the door. Sometimes it will not be possible though.

I want my delivery on Saturday?

Our couriers can deliver on a Saturday but it is a premium service and one that needs to be selected at the checkout. Next Working Day services are Monday - Friday, a specific Saturday service will need to be selected if a Saturday delivery is required. Orders for a Saturday delivery need to be placed by 3pm on a Friday.

What happens if I am out when delivery is due / attempted?

If you have received a delivery window from the courier and you are not going to be in they should give you options for leaving the parcels in a safe place, with a neighbour or re-scheduling the delivery for another day.

If you are out when the delivery is attempted the courier will leave a card to say they have been, the card will have instructions on how to arrange a re-delivery. Your delivery may be attempted on the next working day without a re-delivery request being made however after 2 failed attempts the courier will require a request to be made for the parcel to go out a third time.

If a delivery has been attempted three times or if it has been attempted twice and a re-delivery request has not been made within 3 working days of the last attempt then the goods may get returned to us. If they do a re-delivery fee may be charges before the goods are re-dispatched, that fee will be based on the size and weight of the order to match what we will be charged by the courier.

Can I collect from you?

Yes you can, simply select 'Click & Collect from High Wycombe' when you checkout on the website..

Customers are always given the opportunity to check the goods are correct and in good condition and Cater For You cannot accept claims at a later date for goods collected.

All collections must be signed for and we reserve the right to request identification.

Returning Goods

If the products you have chosen do not meet your approval, please return them to us within seven days and on receipt we will be happy to make a refund for the value of the goods. We are unable to refund carriage charges because we will have incurred the costs as soon as the goods are dispatched. For this reason we ask you to ensure that somebody will be available to receive the goods you have ordered.

Where items are being returned we must insist that they are returned unused, in their own original packaging. Please make sure you get proof of postage from the post office when you return an item in case of loss.

Can I specify a time for delivery?

Standard deliveries will be made between 8.00am to 6.30pm however upgraded timed deliveries are available at an extra cost. If you require a delivery by 3or 4pm then we would advise you upgrade to an AM service as delivery before this time on our standard service would not be guaranteed.

Do you deliver overseas?

Yes we do deliver into Europe, please have a look at our dedicated European Deliveries page. This gives you an idea of which countries we can deliver to and of how much it will cost.

Can I track my order online?

Yes you can. Once the order has been shipped, we send you a confirmation email with tracking details. These are normally updated once the packages have arrived at the main depot in the evening.

Some DOs and DON'Ts:

Do

Be aware that deliveries are normally made by our overnight couriers in the morning however delivery can be any time up to 5pm

Be exact when specifying delivery addresses.

Make sure that somebody will be there to receive the goods, if you cannot be sure somebody will be in then please use another delivery address…eg. your work address. After two attempts the goods are returned to us. We reserve the right to re-charge any delivery costs if we re-send the goods to you

Don't

Try and specify a timed delivery our couriers will normally be delivering many packages from various companies each day to your region.

Expect standard deliveries to be made on Saturday or Sunday - this will not happen.

Demand complicated delivery instructions eg please leave my goods in my next door neighbour’s garden shed.

Ask for the courier to call a certain time before delivery, our couriers are not able to do this.
