Just like their larger brothers, our small Tamper Evident Containers are quite happy living in the fridge and freezer. They are BPE free, safe for use in the Microwave and will take a hot fill too.
The smallest we have available is 60ml, and this is a perfect size for samples and tasters (especially at food shows and such) It is fully leakproof, so much more secure than the normal deli pots on offer – pretty vital if you’re giving away food with a high oil or liquid content.
We’ve used them to store some Parsley Oil – we made a fairly big batch as we had a bunch of parsley left over and to bin it would have been a kitchen crime. It’s great with Cod, or as a little dressing on a plate of fresh pasta. (It’s basically one of those dashes of colour you see chefs finish plates of pretty food off with) Be cheffy! It’s pretty straight forward and not much can go wrong.
Method:
- Whiz up 300ml Rapeseed Oil, 75g Fresh Parsley and 75g Spring Onions in a blender. Let it blend for 4 or 5 minutes. (Feel free to give your blender a breather if it takes on that burned out engine smell…)
- Bring to 100 degrees in a Saucepan, take off the heat and strain the mixture into a jug. (We used a coffee filter and a sieve)
- Cool the mixture and refrigerate / freeze as required
Super tangy and oh so green, and ready in about 30 mins!
Kate 🙂
