Giant cookies are fab. Naughty, but oh so nice. We’re massive fans here at Cater For You, so it made sense to source decent packaging for them. What better way to test them than with some home baked cookies? There’s nothing complicated about the process (especially if you cheat like me and buy a packet mix) I only struggled with the urge to eat the raw dough. I’m only human.
There are plenty of packet mixes out there – all I needed for mine was 30ml of cold water and an un-greased baking tray, plus a mixing bowl to mix everything in. Pre-heat your oven as per the instructions.
Add your water to the dry mix. (I don’t have giant hands, that happens to be a very small Pyrex jug.) I started with a wooden spoon and soon realised I’d be there all day so got my hands dirty and mixed the old fashioned way. This is still one of the best ways to ensure that the mixture is well combined with the water. At this point, divide the dough up, and gently flatten out. The amount you flatten will depend entirely on wheat size cookies you want.Bake in the oven until slightly browned around the edge, and set aside to cool. No licking the bowl or the spoon while you wait either.
Using this method, 2 of the baked cookies fit in our brand new Cookie Boxes perfectly. A little dressing up of the box and you’re good to go. Did you know that we offer a custom food packaging label service as well?
