The law will apply to hospitality businesses, but not to shops (eg Supermarkets & Butchers) and single-use plastic manufacturers. So if you run a fast food style restaurant or take away shop, then it’s time to look at the packaging you currently use and be prepared to make the necessary changes to ensure you continue to operate within the law.
We stock a range of environmentally friendly Bagasse alternatives which all do an equally good job! Bagasse is recycled sugarcane, a rapidly renewable resource. It is Biodegradable and compostable (in commercial compost facilities)
