From October 2023, a ban on single-use plastics came in to effect. This means we have delisted the following fast food packaging:

- HB10 – Large Burger & Chips Box (240 x 145 x 66mm)
- HB1 – White Meal Box (240 x 202 x 74mm)
- HB3CH – 3 Compartment Large Meal Box Champagne (240 x 202 x 74mm)
- HB3 – 3 Compartment Large Meal Box White (240 x 202 x 74mm)
The law will apply to hospitality businesses like fast food / take away restaurants, but not to shops like Butchers & Supermarkets, and single use plastic manufacturers. So if you run a takeaway that sells Kebabs, Burger & Chips / Chicken & Chips etc now is the time to look at the packaging you currently use and be prepared to make the necessary changes to ensure you continue to operate within the law.
