The law applies to hospitality businesses like fast food / take away restaurants, but it won’t apply to shops like Supermarkets, Butchers and single use manufacturers. If you run a takeaway that sells hot soup, supplies tea & coffee to go, now is the time to look at the packaging you currently use and be prepared to make the necessary changes to ensure you continue to operate within the law.
We stock a range of environmentally friendly alternatives that will do just as good a job! All paper cups are easily recycled after use and come with a choice of plastic or pulp lids. Our Ingeo range can be commercially composted and Aqueous cups are both recyclable and home compostable.
