Pack of 100 or case of 1000 birchwood wooden forks, ideal for picnics, events, take away outlets and outside catering. Approximately 155mm in length, the head is around 28mm at its widest. The handle is approximately 16mm. The wood is 100% certified FSC®. The teeth of the fork are approximately 16mm long.

Wooden cutlery including this wooden fork have become increasingly popular as they are sourced from renewable resources, will break down naturally and are of course food grade material (ISO 9001-2008 UKAS).

We normally purchase from leading manufacturer eGreen (formerly Plastico) who uphold the highest standards in food safety and the environment.

Are Wooden Forks Good?

The main purpose for a wooden fork is for eating food on the go and we believe that they are stronger and taste better than the traditional plastic forks. This is in addition to their eco friendly attributes of composability and sustainability from FSC approved sources.

What do you use a wooden fork for?

Our customers use the disposable wooden forks for take away food, fast food on the go or at large hospitality events. Larger, reusable wooden forks are often used with salad bowl mixers.

Can you reuse a wooden fork?

These birchwood wooden forks are meant for single use only and as a replacement for disposable plastic forks. The forks are only designed for use with one meal and not to be washed and re-used.

How long does a wooden fork take to decompose?

These disposable wooden forks are manufactured from natural birchwood, they will decompose in a few months in green waste or food waste depending on heat and the composting environment.
