Why Do You Need Food Packaging?
Here are five reasons why food packaging is essential for your business:- It protects your prepared food from becoming damaged in transit
- It improves the retail presentation of your food and convenience for take away food on the go customers
- It protects against airborne contamination and food tampering
- It extends the shelf and fridge life of food by reducing food degradation and controlling temperature
- It increases the perceived value of the food product at the point of sale
Sustainable and Eco Friendly
Ever since we started in 2003, food packaging has evolved to become more sophisticated and eco-friendly, driven by a commitment to improve the environmental credentials of the food-to-go industry and growing customer demand. Where possible, we show on page whether the packaging materials are recyclable, compostable (industrial / home) and biodegradable. We were the first on-line food packaging retailer to upload recycling properties / logos on our range of food packaging. The landscape of food packaging has changed considerably with UK government and EU regularly introducing legislation particularly around single use plastics. We are strongly in favour of improving the eco credentials of packaging supplies.Food Labelling
We stock a wide range of food packaging labels, essential for displaying legal information like ingredients and allergies for Natasha's Law. For customers interested in bespoke packaging labels / branding, we also offer a custom labelling service. Additionally, we stock pre-designed off the shelf labels for customers looking for a non-branded design. What is Our Food Packaging Made of?
