Cater For You has been selling clear plastic bottles for almost 15 years, starting off with a small range but in the last 18 months we have expanded our offering with many more clear plastic bottles from 50ml all the way to 1000ml. There is a bottle for every need! We’ve even started stocking spice jars and plastic sauce bottles to compliment the range.
So we thought we would do a deeper delve on what our plastic bottles are actually used for and how our customers use them.
Sourced London
Sourced deliver very high-end meal preps to customers in London and the surrounding area, including F1 teams. They work with organic nutritional lead ingredients, line caught sustainable fish and UK grass fed meat. Part of their range includes cold pressed juices and smoothies and this is where our juice bottles come into their own.

Sourced has been purchasing our 250ml square plastic bottles for a number of years and Glenn Birnie from Sourced said “I couldn’t be more impressed with both the product quality and the exceptional customer service. The juice bottles are perfect in size, ideal for on-the-go refreshment or portion-controlled servings. The packaging is sturdy, well-designed, and seals securely, ensuring freshness and preventing leaks. These bottles are not only practical but also have a sleek, professional look that’s perfect for high-end or health-conscious clients.
What stood out even more was the customer service from Cater For You. From the moment I placed my order, their team was attentive, efficient, and genuinely committed to ensuring a smooth experience. The delivery was prompt, and the products arrived in pristine condition, clearly handled with care.
I highly recommend Cater For You for their products and outstanding service. They’ve made a lasting impression.

Health Honey Oldham
Health Honey have been purchasing from Cater For You for over two years, principally the 330ml round plastic bottles. Once they’ve taken the bottles, they apply some clear branded printed labels for a great finish to their juice bottles.
Hannah from Health Honey said “We have been ordering bottles from cater4you for our fresh juices for a while now and we are always happy with a fast delivery and great customer service. The bottles are good quality and there is so much choice of sizes.”
Why Use Clear Plastic Bottles?
Cater For You has been very progressive with a market leading approach to supplying the food to go industry with replacements to plastic wherever possible. With plastic bottles, there aren’t many really good alternatives for small micro producers to use. The bottles we supply are made from PET which is crystal clear and widely recycled, including household doorstep recycling. This is why we selected these rather than PP or other plastics which cannot be so readily recycled. We will continue to look for a viable alternative to PET plastic, but until there is one suitable for our micro producers, PET is very good. Coke uses the same material for their drinks range; it’s easily identified by the #1 in a recycling triangle and can be repeatedly recycled and reused.
Are our Plastic Bottle Caps Tethered?
As part of EU law, our tamper evident bottle caps are being rolled out to have tethered caps. This means that when the drink is opened, the cap stays with the bottle which reduces the chances of the plastic caps ending up in the sea through careless disposal and littering.
Eco Friendly Plastic Bottles
Eco friendly depends on your definition of course, we are very happy to be supplying the clear PET plastic bottles that are 100% recyclable. However, we are not resting on our laurels and are constantly scouring the market for compostable alternatives that we can bring to market for our clients that are demanding non plastic products but also the same high quality properties. Obviously a full fibre based alternative when it arrives will not be clear and rely on the overprinting for retail presence.

At a recent trade show, we found these natural fibre bottles lids / closures that have recently been developed and look forward to these being adopted in the mainstream over the coming months and years.
Andy Watts said “we are very pleased with the range of plastic bottles we have available to purchase and fulfilling a wide range of needs in the market. We are also very happy with the recyclability of the bottles, but are looking to bring to market anything new and exciting and more environmentally friendly. This new fibre based bottle closure fits that bill and we look forward to supplying this innovative solution in the future”.
