Cater For You has promoted two of its long-standing team members to new positions to help drive sales, customer satisfaction and team management forward in 2024 and beyond.
Tom Payne has broken his glass ceiling with a promotion from Customer Services to outbound Business Development Manager, a brand-new internal role which will see Tom contact existing customers, help them with the fast changing world of food packaging products and also work on developing new customers.
Kate Grove has been promoted to Assistant General Manager in recognition of her hard work supporting General Manager Phil Stears, as well as her existing marketing role. Kate has a long history in the events / catering industry, having worked as a chef, pub landlady and telesales for a national food business.
Both Kate and Tom joined Cater For you in 2011 and have worked their way up from Warehouse Operative and Customer Services over that time becoming core pillars of the business. The knowledge they have built up over that time has become invaluable in supporting customers and other team members as the company has grown.

He has a huge knowledge of our customers and is extremely personable, so we look forward to him working with them over the coming months and years. “
Cater For You has been trading for over 20 years and has a huge database of regular customers. John went on to say “We are sure Tom will be a huge success with his positive attitude and we look forward to rolling out the Business Development role with future appointments to be more proactive with our substantial customer base”.
General Manager Phil Stears commented on Kate’s promotion saying “since I joined the business in 2022, I’ve found Kate’s knowledge invaluable in supporting me and helping the business achieve its objectives. She has a natural flare with customers, helping promote them on social media and passing that gleaned customer knowledge on internally to support our business.”
