A white Bagasse take away bowl with a 152mm (6") diameter (top) and 38mm deep (1.5"), a capacity of 12fl.oz, and made from sugarcane waste material. These are naturally compostable and suitable for hot and wet food and grease and cut resistant. Photo shows a 16oz bowl.
Bagasse is made from dry fibrous residue left over from the sugarcane processing proceedure and the sugar juice has been extracted with the pulp then being subjected to high pressure and heat to be made into sturdy tableware. The inside of the bowl is embossed with 'ECO Products', 'Commercially Compostable Only' and BPI certified compostable. The sugarcane is 100% renewable and reclaimed resources.
