We have just added a large disposable 2 pint plastic glass to our on-line catalogue that has a whopping capacity of over 1140ml (40 fl.oz). This plastic glass is lined at 2 pints (1140ml or 40oz) with a CE stamp in the base so it is able to be used in licensed premises as well as in the back garden on a hot sunny day. Designed as a disposable product it is made from tough polypropylene which is strong but flexible enough so it won't crack or shatter meaning they can be reused many times. We have just added a range of polystyrene cups to our on-line catalogue to compliment the range packaging we already stock and supply to take aways and other fast food outlets. Manufactured by DART these polystyrene foam cups (aka Styrofoam cups ) are ideal for hot or cold drinks as the insulating properties of the polystyrene keep the liquid at the desired temperature on the inside whilst being comfortable to hold on the outside. With lids to match the four sizes, (8, 10, 12 and 14oz) we hope these will offer a cost effective alternative to our paper coffee cups for those people out there on a budget.

We have just added a new polycarbonate plastic glass to our range of virtually unbreakable drink ware. The 14oz Remedy glass has been introduced to go alongside the other polycarbonate Remedy glasses we stock which are thick and heavy and ideal for use in nightclubs and pubs or just normal home usage. As with all polycarbonate glasses the 14oz Remedy glass is virtually unbreakable and fully dishwasher safe for up to and over 500 washes.

Linpac Fast Food Packaging

We have just added a new range of products to our selection of take away containers, foam fast food packaging. The range of HOTpac foam food containers is made from EPS or Expanded PolyStyrene and manufactured in the UK by Linpac. They all have a hinged lid and retain heat much longer than similar cardboard packaging, up to 20 minutes and can be given out without the need of any other packaging. The range includes small and large burger boxes, jacket potato boxes, small and medium meal boxes or kebab boxes, ideal for fast food restaurants and burger/kebab vans.

At Cater For You we have just added Safe2Go Ovenable pan liners to our on-line catalogue. These oven safe pan liners can help you comply with HACCP guidelines and keep food hydrated to retain food flavor and appearance. The ovenable liners are great for cooking food, there is no scorching and leftovers can be stored, chilled and reheated in the same liner. They are safe to boil or microwave. Ovenable liners can be used at temperatures up to 400ºF / 204ºC.

At Cater For You we have just secured a new supply of hinged plastic sandwich wedges at a slightly reduced rate and we are happy to pass those saving onto our customers. The hinged plastic sandwich wedges are still available in 3 sizes, standard, deep fill and triple but are now made from a plastic which is 57% salt, this is a far more sustainable product than the oil based products that most plastics are made from. They are also 100% recyclable. All three sizes are available to buy on-line now.

Keeping track of when food was prepared or how long it has been stored in the fridge/freezer for can be a little tricky in a busy kitchen. At Cater For You we have just introduced a range of products from DayMark that will help with this problem. We have added a range of food safety labels and potion bags which have been specifically designed to quickly show when a food item or items were prepared. The range includes the Day of the Week labels (in dissolvable, removable and permanent labels), Use By labels, Pull Thaw and Use by labels and Shelf Life labels.
